A few updates

A thanks, a reminder, and an event!

PEER ENERGY & SUSTAINABILITY COACHING WHEN: March 7th, 2026, 11am-2pm (drop in) WHERE: Easthampton Library Annex, 52 Main St Interested in adopting solar PV, heat pumps, or an electric vehicle? Come chat with community members who have already embraced these green energy technologies! To learn more about sustainability in Easthampton, visit: easthamptonma.gov/869/Sustainability Local Energy Advocate and representatives from the Easthampton BEES Committee will also be in attendance This event is organized by members of the community.

But not a full news letter. 🙂

First, the BEES committee would like to thank Councilor Koni Denham for her time with the BEES committee, and congratulate her on the new role as city council president! Thank you very much, and congratulations!

Second, the next Coffee and Removal party is coming up! We won’t be doing removal, that’ll wait for March, but we’ll sure enjoy that coffee! Come chat with us at Marigold Cafe, at 9am on February 14th. Maybe we can talk native replacements for roses!

Second, on March 7th, 2026, between 11am and 2pm, members of the BEES Committee will be at the Easthampton Library Annex, at 52 main street, to just chat and share our experiences! Come talk about lawn removal, native plants, or anything else sustainability related!
